I took the kid's up to our apartment's front office to trick-or treat about 4:30.
During the day Connor was "Lightning McQueen's Biggest Fan". We had to get creative because he was really upset by every costume we offered him (over 20 different ones), including Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train, which we thought he would love. We didn't think it was worth spending money and torturing him. Evelynn was Cinderella.
Connor demanded he get to play at the park while we waited for Daddy to come home and go to the ward trunk-or-treat.
I had to snap a couple pictures of Evelynn in her Cinderella costume before I switched her to her costume for the trunk-or-treat. I had to get my costume on to!
I decided to dress up for the trunk-or-treat and did a Grecian goddess attempt. Caleb didn't dress up but he got to hand out candy and even took the kids up and down the row or cars once. Connor's outfit didn't change, but Evelynn was a ladybug.
He finally warmed up to the idea and got enthusiastic after a few times up and down the row of car. Then he was trying to run and drag his bucket which was too heavy for him. Silly kid!
I tried to get some cute pictures of Evelynn in her ladybug costume, but all she wanted to do was try to crawl! Doesn't she look proud of herself?
We had a great night and Munchkin loooooved his candy!
