We wanted to do a little "party" for Evelynn while Grandpa and Grandma West were here. The day that would work was Monday night. My mom helped me do some decorating for the party and then we all went to dinner at Olive Garden.
I dressed Evelynn up in her outfit I planned for her birthday and she got compliments from everyone!
--but seriously, who could resist how darling she looks?? We really can't blame anyone for it.
We all loved the yummy dinner we had, and Evelynn sat in the highchair and was so proud of herself!
Caleb met us there as soon as he got done with work and the kids were so excited to see him. Evelynn is such a daddy's girl.
After finishing dinner we returned to our place and Evelynn got to open presents.
She had a few gifts from Mommy and Daddy, as well as from Grandma Anderson and Grandma & Grandpa West. She liked all of her presents and big brother liked them too!
Then we finished off the evening by eating birthday cake!
I had diligently pinned ideas for weeks so I knew exactly what I wanted her birthday cake to turn out like. I was pretty nervous to do it, but I thought it turned out beautiful!
Evelynn was pretty worn out from her long, fun day, so she went to bed very soon after finishing her cake. Isn't she a sweetheart?
Her birthday celebration was wonderful!
