I'm finally updating the blog! I has been nearly 2 months since I last updated. We have been so busy! Between school and moving I just have not been able to find the time. We moved almost a month ago and I finally have all th boxes unpacked but no pictures on the walls yet. After I get that done I will share pictures of our new place. The kids really enjoy it and we are finally on ground level so it is so nice not to have to stress about stairs!
Here are the most recent pictures of the kids from about a week and a half ago. The kids are already expert at messing up this place. I clean and then they mess it up while my back is turned. Evelynn is in the phase where she think it is hilarious to watch me repeatedly pick up the things she drops or throws. She laughs when I put a toy away then gets it out again.
These are from about 2 weeks ago. You can see that we still have a lot of boxes pilled around then. With school and trying to get our old apartment cleaned up we decided to take our time unpacking.
These pictures are from when we were still at our old place. Evelynn's hair is finally growing in longer! She wakes up with hilarious bedhead in the morning. I can't wait for it to grow just a tiny bit more so we can start doing it. Sadly, she has developed a hatred of her headbands and pulls them off and glares at me... Daddy is a great supporter of it.
Connor loves to spend time with Daddy. He also likes to mimic everything Caleb does, like excitedly playing computer games.
Right before we found the new place to move to it was drill weekend. Caleb was gone for 3 days so Conner was so excited to see him when it was time to pick him up. He didn't survive the drive though, and fell asleep! He had repeated the whole way "Where Dad... Want Dad..." over and over again.
Also before we moved my kids made a huge mess with flour. I got some pictures on my camera of it that I didn't post on facebook, although I did post this first one. They are sure troublemakers!
While we were dealing with our move Evelynn got some more teeth. She has 8 now. Her napping and sleeping was horrible through the teething process and i'm still waiting for it to even out. Another factor to the lack of napping is Mr Connor who loves to go in a wake her up! I get so mad, but then I see how much she adores him and my heart melts a little.
Our new place doesn't have a playground so we are missing that a little bit. It does have a nice grassy area with hills though that sure gets Connor's energy out well!
Here was one of our last visits to the playground before we moved.
While we were talking to a Realtor about finding a place to move to, the kids were given some licorice. I don't think it would be inaccurate to say Evelynn thorough enjoyed it!
Here are just a few other cute pictures from the beginning of this year:

And here is a little video of Evelynn walking. Please excuse the horrible mess. I kinda gave up with cleaning during all the packing and business of school. We cleaned the entire place, top to bottom, after moving.
Our little Munchkin also split his forehead and we did our first Urgent Care trip for him. I know this one was a while ago but I still have to document it and share pictures. He was not happy at all about it. He has a scar still but we are hoping it will fade more.
He tripped and fell into a protruding corner by our closet and blood was pouring down his face. At first I thought it was coming from his eye because it pooled up there. We couldn't get a look at it without him scratching at it and making it keep bleeding and he was screaming the whole time we decided to take him in. They said we could just glue it instead of traumatizing him with stitches
And here is another older picture. The old phone froze a lot so I'm not sure how well it will work...but it was cute because she was trying to chase her brother around the room.
I will post picture of our new place soon! I got a couple but there were still boxes all over so I am not going to post them yet. I hope to do better with taking picture of the kids after I get a nicer phone again. I am using one that is about 6 years old right now and the pictures are horrible so I don't take any. I've been so busy that I haven't taken any on my nice camera either, but I will do better!
