Another Week

School is still keeping me busy but I've been trying to do better with the picture taking. We will be replacing my phone soon so I will be a lot better about taking pictures .

Ever since Connor's latest ear infection he hasn't been eating much. Every time he gets sick he loses weight and the kid is already pretty darn skinny so I get really stressed about him losing weight. He's so tall, but just skin and bones. I let him eat anything he wants if it will just get him to eat more than two bites. His food of desire has been chicken nuggets. He would eat them morning, noon, and night, but only one
(or two, if  I was lucky) at a time.
At one point Evelynn decided that the other's I made for him shouldn't go to waste just because he didn't want them. I heard her excitedly squealing about something and discovered her chowing down on his food!
Sadly, he wasn't very thrilled to learn about her eating his food. Apparently he wants them to remain untouched when he is done with it. I told him if he doesn't want her eating them he shouldn't have shared them with her ever, because now she likes them!

Evelynn is getting so big and we are needing to bump her up to the next size of clothes. While at Costco on Saturday I decided to grab her a cute outfit I saw. When I got home I realized she didn't have any flowers of bows to match. She's outgrown a lot of the headbands I originally made. I have been trying to wait for her hair to grow long enough to put clips in but it's a slow process. There's one little section that is ready, but the rest isn't. I've been telling myself to make clips to put on headbands that I can interchange, it just hadn't happened yet.
I decided to spend my spare time over the weekend making some new ones and trying some new ideas. I made a flower clip specifically to match her new outfit, and I thought it turned out super cute! Almost as cute as the little girl wearing it!

Connor has been recuperating from being sick still. He still has a yucky nose and has been napping a lot and pretty grouchy. He loves to play with our tablet and knows how to work it extremely well. He just doesn't appreciate being interrupted when he is focused on playing games of watching shows!

I put together some other clips to put on headbands and in hair. I spent a few hours getting crafty!

I am learning how quickly the house gets messy with two mobile children. I'm pretty sure they gang up on me. I sit down to do school work and not even 5 minutes later everything has been dumped out or dumped over that I cleaned. Evelynn made a pen explode and covered herself in ink, and Connor freaked out because I tried to pick up the train tracks to clean.

My kids are pretty good at keeping me busy and on my toes!

Here is a little video to add!
Evelynn has been making improvments with her walking. She can use her walker toy and hold on with only one hand, but she thinks she needs to plop on her butt the first second she's not holding on to something. We are fine with her taking her time and enjoying her improvements!
