Beginning September + Caleb's Birthday/Dinosaur Park

On the 1st, Connor had preschool again. We didn't do anything too exciting that day because we were trying to adjust to new routines. After Connor came home from preschool I loaded the kids up into the car and took them with me to the store. The kids love the store! I let them pick their own cereal and they were so excited.

On the 2nd we had a great playdate planned with my cousin and her kids. We met up at a park in Salt Lake. I am not a fan of driving on the freeway, and especially not in Utah (land of the speedy drivers), but I did it! Yay, me!

This little girl of mine was so excited to go, but she was acting off all day.

She showed us where this super cool water area was that is like a mini replica of the bodies of water in Utah. The kids had a blast putting toys down the waterfalls and chasing them down the rivers all the way to the lake.

After we tired out the kids we let them feed the geese. They had a ton of fun!

We took the kids to McDonald's for lunch (the two babies weren't included in the pic), and Connor was so excited about his happy meal toy.

Since I didn't take any pictures of this cute kid all day, I took some when we got home.

Unfortunately that night, Eva got super sick, She had severe diarrhea and vomiting and it was a long night for us.

The next morning, Liam woke up full of grins, well Evelynn woke up getting sick.

Evelynn wanted to wear a dress and a bow in her hair when it came time for taking big brother to the bus. She seemed to be  done throwing up, but was still having plenty of diarrhea issues. Poor girl! :(
If only I could look as cute as she does when sick! Liam slept the entire time we were outside. He loves being in the carrier!

Evelynn was having a really rough time that night. She had horrible diaper rash and insisted on laying on the floor on my feet and crying. She didn't want to be held, she didn't want to move, and she just wanted to cry. The only thing that made her happier was her daddy getting home from work.

Friday we ran some errands while Connor was at preschool, but it was a pretty lowkey day all day.

Saturday was Daddy's birthday. We had plans to go to the Dinosaur Park.
Caleb has been several times before, but I had never been and neither have the kids. They were super excited about seeing dinosaurs!

The outing was pretty exhausting for this kid.

They all helped me make Daddy's birthday cake later that day.

I had made Daddy pick out his own flavors, and the kids were super excited about getting to eat it and Connor helped me sing happy birthday to him.

Happy 26th Birthday!!! We love you!

On Sunday I decided to take all three kids to church. I was pretty nervous about how Connor would handle it, since he usually has such a rough time with new places and things, but he did amazing! All three kids were pretty well behaved.

After church Evelynn and Liam and I all took a nap. I love naps... I need them!

Monday wasn't too bad of a day, and Daddy was home for Labor day and so was Connor. But Evelynn had some serious tantrums going on! She was screaming and screaming and shoving herself in the changing table to hide. What a drama queen! We love her though.

I went to the store with Evelynn later that afternoon, and when I came home all my boys were happily playing a computer game together. Connor ran when I pulled out the phone for a picture, but I assure you he was participating as well.

Tuesday Caleb went back to work, and Connor went back to school. Evelynn was excited about getting brother from the bus with me and carrying daddy's birthday cards that had arrived.

That night Caleb came home feeling unwell. The end result was whatever Evelynn had the week before... and he was SUPER sick. He had to call in sick for Wednesday and spent the day sleeping when he wasn't getting sick.

Thursday he stayed home as well to finish recuperating and not share the horrible germs with anyone else at work. I spend the morning playing the piano while Liam relaxed in his swing and fell asleep to the music.

When he woke up, he had a massive blowout. The kind where they need a bath right after to clean off their entire body. He sure loved his bath!

When it came time for Connor to go to the bus, Evelynn insisted her baby had to go with us.

While he was at school, she begged to have her hair done, and looked pretty cute when it was time to pick him up from the bus stop!

That's all for now, folks! Until next time!
