Once again, I've gottten behind on our blogging. We've been keeping pretty busy though, and this is one of the first weekends since we moved here when we haven't had anything planned! I've been able to do some fun stuff with the kids during our weekdays as well.
On Thursday the 27th of August I was able to take Connor to an open house and get to meet his new preschool teacher. He was SO excited about seeing the school, and he wanted to ride the bus and go TOMORROW, and wasn't too happy when I told him he had to wait until Monday. He had a lot of fun playing with the toys in his classroom.
Here is our cute Liam after a bath. I don't know why baby bath pictures are so cute, but they are.
On Friday, Caleb had some friends over and I wanted to keep the kdis out of the the way a bit. Connor wasn't too thrilled about the idea; he wanted to hang with Daddy and do fun stuff! Eva was ok hanging out with me though... we wanted some videos upstairs and ate chips and salsa.
I took the kids outside for a bit, but Connor seemed to not want to miss any fun inside and it was short lived.
That night Daddy went out with some friends, and Liam was my little snuggle buddy!
The next day we did some more hanging out. Daddy was with friends again, and Liam wasn't too happy about it. At one point, he was hollering at me for a solid 15 mins and then I helped him sit up and he grinned ear to ear when I asked him if he was hollering just because he could. Little twerp! We sure love him depsite it!
On the 30th I decided it was time for me to venture back to church post-baby. I didn't quite feel ready to handle new ward, new baby, and connor's meltdowns at once, so I had Connor stay home with his dad, and I just took Eva and Liam.
Thankfully they did so well and our ward was super nice! I was able to get our records transferred over with no problem.
The 31st was Connor's first day to Preschool for the school year.
Eva wanted so badly to go with her big brother! He was so excited I could hardly get him to stand still for pictures. He got on the bus with no problem, and came home with a huge smile.
While he was gone the kids had a blast. There was lots of relaxign and snuggles, but big brother's presence sure was missed!
