Catching Up on November

Since I'm incredibly far behind on my blogging, I figured I should catch up, and start where I left off... which was a couple days in to November. (Insert ashamed emoticon). Ha!

Our November started off pretty chilly, and out came the kids winter coats!
On This particular day, the 5th, I told the kids it was *almost* cold enough to snow outside. They must have must that key word, because they ran outside so excited, and when they didn't see snow, boy, did I get glares! They forgave me though, and let me take cute pictures of them.

Liam spent that day laying around and sleeping. He was being so quiet while playing, and then I realized it was because he had fallen asleep! I rolled him on to his back after snapping a couple cute pictures. Playing was just too much for him, I guess!

While Connor was at Preschool, Evelynn took advantage of the WiiU and watched some shows.

Ever since the weather cooled down and I showed Evelynn her adorable hat my cousin made her when she was a baby, she insists on wearing it around! She LOVES this hat!

The next day was Friday, which means Daddy is home! The kids were so excited to show Daddy their warm winter coats!

On the 7th The kids came driving into my room sharing this little riding toy. I thought it was so cute that they were sharing! Those moments are few and far between with these two usually.

The next day, Evelynn (with a serious face), came to me and announced baby needed a "bit". I told her I wasn't sure what a bit was, but if she could show me, we could get it. Apparently she meant a bib, and it had to be one of baby brother's, not on of baby doll's.

On the 10th when we went out for Preschool, Evelynn insisted on wearing as much pink as she could. I was highly amused by it, hence the picture taking that happened.

The 11th had Daddy home with us, so when we went out to the bus, Liam was bundled up. How cute are they?! Liam wasn't particularly thrilled. haha!

On the 12th, bedtime routine got interrupted by my oldest child requesting to hold his baby brother. Then of course Evelynn wanted to, and then the next thing I knew, it was 30 minutes later, but all my kids were smiling. Well, besides the baby who really wanted his bedtime. Haha!

On the 13th I walked out from the kitchen to see a pile of pillows where my baby had been. I panicked until I saw that his big brother had strategically placed the pillows around and over him, but left his head out. He also proudly declared that he had built baby brother a fort!

The next day I made a smoothie for breakfast, which my daughter commandeered. She thought it was delish!

Connor liked it, too, but he didn't want a mustache like sister had he said!

That night I decided that my oldest child and I needed a mommy/son date. So, I took him to Fiiz, just mommy and him. He didn't want to go at first, but he ended up having a lot of fun getting to pick out a special drink and stop at the store for his very own treat.

The next few days we had some grumpy, tired kids!
The cool weather also did some amusing things to our girl's hair!

On the 16th I was amused by the accessories Evelynn demanded must be worn as we went out to the bus. Who knew she was such a diva?!

The next day, we repeated our normal bus time routine all bundled up!

Later that evening, Liam helped me make dinner by hanging out in his bumbo on his best behavior. Can you tell from that grin he was enjoying himself?

On the 19th we tried to prep the house for the arrival of COUSINS that would come the next day. Evelynn was an excellent little helper, until she decided that baby brothers bed was an ideal spot for her and her babies to play. She had three of them in there tucked on the blanket and "sleeping".

We didn't take many pictures together, but I did snag this one of my sis and I after they came into town on that Friday! We were so excited to have her family come stay with us!

That night we took them out to Olive Garden, and tried to let the kids have their first sleepover. It didn't work out, since they were all excited and wouldn't go to sleep, but it was fun to try and at least grab some pictures of it!

The next day our families drove to Provo to see my cousin's art show. Evelynn was extremely clingy, so she popped in the picture, too.
Her family went to stay with other relatives that day, but we got to have them stay again on Thanksgiving night and Black Friday!

On the 22nd, my kids went to church with me again like usual.

During the Sacrament, I was really amused to see/hear Connor tell me, "Look Mommy, I'm folding my eyes!" I've really been working with him on reverence, but I guess he figured one reverent body part was enough to make up for rummaging through the diaper bag for snacks in the middle of the sacrament prayer!

That evening I woke up from a tiny cat nap to see the mischief my daughter had gotten in to. We have a strict "only mommy can handle the nail polish" rule, but I think Evelynn figured she WAS the mommy, and it was her baby who needed it done. Polish was all over the bed and carpet. I did get it out, thankfully, but I wasn't a happy camper. Especially after I saw the other messes she had made in the closet...

On the 24th, my semester started getting hard as midterms came, and projects were started for finals. I took a much needed stress-relief break to snuggle all my kiddos!

On the 25th we were so excited to see SNOW coming down outside!!! It was the kids very first snowfall ever!

I didn't have my good camera, since I'd let my sister borrow it for her trip after her's had been forgotten at home. But I tried to grab some pictures to celebrate their first snow!

Daddy didn't get home from work until after it was dark, but he promised his excited kids that they could go out and play the next morning. And they did!

Later we went down to my Aunt & Uncle's house for Thanksgiving celebrations.
Liam helped me get ready but hanging out in the sink. Caleb was highly amused by it, but Liam wasn't complaining! It was the only way he didn't scream at me!

They live a little more than an hour from us, but we weren't' sure how the roads would be so we made sure to leave a little early. We also had to scrape our windshields for the first time in... well... a while. Caleb had to go hunt our scraper out of the boxes in the garage!  The kids thought it was so cool.

That night we came back home and cousins came again!
On Friday, my sister and I decided to do some unplanned Black Friday shopping, so we hit up Ulta, Carter's, and Deseret Book.
We only took Liam and Evelynn with us, and Evelynn was obsessed with her Auntie the entire time and only wanted to hold her hand, not mine. Cute girl! When we came back home, the Daddies had ordered pizza, were happily playing games, and the older boys were all playing games and watching shows together as well.

On the 27th, The kids showed me that they were wearing hats from Grandma West! They were so excited about it, so we snapped some pictures to send her!

On the 29th, it was a LONG day at church for me. I had an absolutely horrible headache.

Overall, we had a lot of fun in November! We were looking forward to finishing up the semester and going to Idaho for the holidays.
