The last few weeks of May were pretty busy for us. The kids have been loving playing outside on the porch, riding bikes, driving cars, and playing on scooters. The 19th was a day of rain, however, so the older two kids still wanted to play, but Liam had to watch from the window. He did NOT approve of the idea, though!
Friday the 20th was a pretty jam-packed day starting with Doc appointments for all 3 kids! We had Connor's 5 year well-check & Kindergarten physical, Evelynn's 3 year well-check, and Liam's (belated) 9 month well-check.
We were quite pleased that the only poking we had to get done was a finger prick for Liam to check for anemia. Liam did get put on some antibiotics though because of a sinus infection that had him dealing with a yucky nose for over a month and a half.
The stats for each kid are as follows:
Connor
18 percentile weight - 36.4 lbs
47th percentile height - 42.74 in
Evelynn
30th percentile weight - 28.8 lbs
50th percentile height - 37 in
Liam
10th percentile weight - 17 lbs 11 ozs
41 percentile height - 28.75 in
22 percentile head - 44.5 cm
After the doctors, we went and dropped off the last paperwork for Connor's Kindergarten registration, went to McDonald's for lunch, and went to the store to get Liam's prescription.
A certain daddy was quite proud of his brilliant idea to let Evelynn push the baby in her mini shopping cart!
Next we headed to Connor's Preschool for his last day of school party!
It was a Hawaiian Luau theme, and they had yummy treats for kids and some cute games and activities for the kids to do.
After games and food, Teacher Reven and Teacher Shanna gave out some awards and goodies for the kids in their class.
We made sure to take some pictures to document this special time in Connor's life! Preschool was amazing for him, and if anyone's child is eligible for it, I highly recommend you do it!

Goodbye, Preschool!
Saturday was another rainy day but we woke up early and headed to Lehi to go to Olivia's dance recital. Evelynn was so excited to go watch, but for some reason I didn't take a single picture! It was raining so hard that there were several wrecks on the freeway, one of which had us stop and go for 20+ minutes. We had a blast watching the recital and then hitting McDonald's for the kids to play.
Sunday brought me a wheezing baby. I was so, so sad about it. I figured it was just the weather and his sinus infection, so when the wheezing stopped after he was awake, I didn't thinking twice about it again. I began to think I had just overreacted and imagined it. Instead of him being tired and whiny, he decided to show off his newly discovered climbing skills! This kid climbs on EVERYTHING.
At church I wound up out in the car with Liam and he was loving climbing around and playing. A sweet sister in the ward held him for me while I did prelude and opening song in Relief Society, then he fell asleep so she held him for me the rest of the time. It was a nice little break!
Monday morning Liam's wheezing returned with a vengence. I realized I shouldn't have second guessed myself that I heard it over the weekend. We pulled out the breathing treatments and started them up. He was NOT happy about it, though. I had been all ready to go to the gym and was just waiting for him to wake up, but we had to change plans after I saw he really was sick.
Sunday Liam also learned how to blow raspberries. I thought it was one of the funniest/cutest things!
Wednesday he was better enough for us to do our volunteering in the daycare at the gym. The kids had a blast playing!
Thursday I asked Caleb if we could go visit his grandparents' graves and leave flowers before we headed out of town the following morning. Caleb got an early release and came home while I was vacumming upstairs and scared me by jumping around the corner at me. He was pretty proud of himself, but he'd brought home flowers, so we quickly loaded the kids up and headed to the gravesites.
The Barthlome grandparents grave is really close to our home, so we stopped there first and took a picture.
Next we went to Grandpa Anderson's grave. The kids were feeling pretty chilled at that point, so it was a quick but wonderful stop.
The next morning we headed out of town after Caleb slept in.
