Beginnings of December - {Dec 1 to 22}

We started off our December with beginning the Christmas season! This year we decided to get an Elf on the Shelf, and boy were our kids excited.

On the 2nd, Evelynn and Connor had dentist appointments. Once again, neither or them had cavities so they're still in the cavity club and we're so proud of them for brushing good!

On the 3rd, Evelynn's dance studio had their Christmas party. Evelynn was so happy to go and have breakfast, decorate cookies, and see Santa!

Connor got some reindeer face paint, while Evelynn mostly enjoyed the cookies haha!

Liam especially enjoyed the cookies... hahaha

After we got home we decided it was time to get our Christmas decorations up!

at Thanksgiving, Liam's Auntie Cami gave him this penguin, and the little bear he got from his Uncle Parker. He's become pretty obsessed with them, especially that penguin. He loves it so much that I constantly worry he'll destroy it! I decided it would be good for us to take some pictures of him with his penguin, and he was quite wiling to oblige.

The 7th was a Volunteer day at the gym. Connor built a nice and big train track, while Liam played with anything and everything he could get his hands on.

On the 8th, we finally got snow dumped on us like the forecast had been anticipating.
I was exhausted from finals, lack of sleep, and just the busyiness of the holidays. After taking the neighbor kid to school, I took a nap with Liam... well, until he woke up and decided it was time to climb in and out all over the train.

That night I took the trash out to the curb and got the mail, and out little lights looked so cute in the snow that I decided to snap some pictures!

The next night, North Ogden decided to have a power outage. It went out around 7 pm, so we pulled o the flashlights and got settled down before building a fort.

On Sunday the 11th we went to Caleb's Grandma's family Christmas party. The kids were having so much fun with Caleb's cousins! Connor seemed to be missing his aunties, because he kinda of adopted one of the cousins as one to climb all over hahaha!

When we got home we tried to snap pictures of the kids with their new toys they got from Great-Grandma Anderson. Evelynn got an Elsa Barbie, Connor got Ninja Turtles, and Liam got a stuffed Pokemon that I'm not even going to attempt to spell.

The 13th was a dance day, and  I guess I just thought our girly looked especially cute, because I took pictures I feel the need to share haha. On a side note, it was also the day I turned in the last assignment of my semester, which means it was the start of my Christmas break!

On the 16th, Connor's Kindergarten class had their Christmas Program. We tried *patiently* to wait.

When Connor's class came out, he looke da little anxious at first because he couldn't see us, but eventually he did, and I got to go up and take some pictures.

They had the cutest songs and hand motions with them! I made Caleb record them all (he had a better view than I did).

That night, Caleb took us for a drive to look at Christmas lights. The kids loved it and would yelled excitedly every time they say any out their window!

On the 17th, my parents came in to town. We went to dinner with them at the Prairie Schooner, and it was so fun! We got a reservation and the kids had so much fun!

This video may be sideways, but it shows how absolutely obsessed our Liam is with animals! Every single time he saw an animal in the middle, he'd point and "wow" and "oh" at it.

Sunday we went down to American Fork for my cousin's mission homecoming, and we stayed for a birthday party afterwards. The kids were thrilled about getting to hit the pinata!

On the 19th poor little Liam started up his wheezing again. I was so sad about it! We hate when he starts wheezing. Thankfully, one breathing treatment later he was doing  lot better.

Liam has been working on his climbing skills lately... and we're not exactly ecstatic over it. Three nights in a row he climbed out in the middle of the night and came in to our room.

Just a few days after the wheezing started up, Liam started throwing up as well. At first I didn't even realize that was happening, and thought he was just choking. But after the second time, I realized he really was sick. Poor kid! He was worn out and grouchy, and napped for hours on end.
