I feel like it's been ages since i last blogged. I have several fun things to share!
First, Connor cracked me up with wearing a large Tupperware on his head. He didn't want me to take a picture of it so he kept running away and putting it on his feet. I'm sure you can see the dirty fingers he is rocking also... he was eating Doritos out of the bowl!!!
Two weekends ago Daddy had drill and there was a family lunch activity. Connor decided he needed to sit in sister's carseat in the stroller.
Also that weekend i decided to make Evelynn some new accesories, mainly some cute bows to go with her outfits! They look pretty darn cute, don't you agree?
These are just a few of her new ones that she has worn since then...
Here is our cute little Evelynn! She has been lounging around in pj's lately!
I can't remember why i took this picture...probably cuz she's gosh darn adorable!
Here is some more mischief from our Connor. He LOVES his lego's. He was building them as high as he could get them on the lego car. I think he did a pretty good job with it!
Once again, here is Miss Eva. She loves to talk to us lately. She's a chatterbox! We love her little face expressions.
And in a rare moment, Munchkin demanded pictures when he saw me taking one of his sister!

I didn't get the best angle of this picture, but behind the leg of this baby toy, you would be able to see him standing in there. I couldn't find him one day last week and walked into the room to see him happily playing in here! I laughed and got my camera to take pictures. He seems to want to play in everything Sister gets to use.
Here is another silly moment of proof of how Connor wants to use his sister's things... This is him in his sister's bassinet!
Connor and Evelynn love to play together. Evelynn loves to lay on Mommy's bed, and Connor loves to jump on it! I am always impressed with her patience with her brother when he is picking on her and playing around without being careful. She never cries and seems to love him no matter what!
I have been doing Zumba with one of my friends every Tuesday and Thursday morning. On Tuesday i was absolutely exhausted afterwards. I decided i needed to remind myself that its a GOOD thing to do, and i should smile about the fact that i have the chance to exercise and have fun!
On Wednesday Evelynn had her 4 Month Doc Appointment. She got 5 immunizations, 1 by mouth, and the other 4 by shot. She did SO WELL! As soon as Daddy picker her up she stopped crying. Her brother was so concerned when he heard her cry and wanted to comfort her. He didn't stop worrying until he was able to give her a hug and a kiss and see that she was ok!
Here are her stats for 4 months:
14lbs 4 ozs, 60th percentile for weight
25 1/4 inches, 75th percentile for height
her head circumference was 39 1/2 cm
On Thursday was Connor's big day! He got tubes in his ears!
We were so proud of how well he did. We started our morning early and dropped Evelynn off with the babysitter and drove across town to the Surgery Center. Connor had been required to come in fasting so we were glad it was in the morning. At first Connor only wanted to be held and was a bit clingy, but we think he probably knew something was going on and was nervous and wanted comfort from one of us holding him at all times.
When we got taken back to get Connor all ready and get bands on him and me, he demanded Daddy hold him and stand the entire time we waited. He wasn't very enthusiastic about sitting with Mommy! He didn't like the bands around his ankles and kept trying to rip them off.
When the Nurse came to get Connor to take him back to surgery, i was sure he would have to be dragged off kicking and screaming. But luckily, i was wrong. They let him take his toy car with him and he told Daddy and I "bye" and reached over for the Nurse to carry him. I was so proud of him for it!
We were then taken to the waiting room to wait for Connor's surgery to get done and for him to wake up. It didn't take long at all! We were surprised how quick of a process it was.
Of course it took Connor a little while to calm down after they brought him to us, but he drank apple juice and we gave him some fruit snacks and then we were able to leave.
We haven't had to do much with his ears besides putting drops in them.
3 drops in each ear, 3 times a day, for 3 days.
Mommy had a sore throat the day of Connor's surgery. The next day all of us felt ill! I had a horribly sore throat, and my kids had yucky noses! We spent 3 days in misery and didn't start feeling better until Labor Day. My kids were sweet and helped bring smiles to my face when i was feeling yucky!

i love you guys the bows for eva are adorable she is so big! Connor was such a brave trooper!
