Connor's Birthday Celebration Weekend in Idaho

Back in April we went to a Birthday party of Connor's cousin Eli. Every since then a birthday party was all Connor wanted for his birthday. Caleb and I discussed it and decided we could make a special trip up to Idaho so he could have the birthday party he desperately wanted and have his cousins there for it.

My little sis made the cutest invitation for the party!

We got in super early Friday morning, and while Caleb did some sleeping in, the kids and I went with my parents to the high school to go to the senior sendoff assembly for my youngest brother. It was pretty cool and I was glad I was able to go.

I of course made him take some pictures with my kids after. Because that's what sisters are for.

Late that afternoon Caleb and Connor headed off the a Father/Son camp out for my parent's stake. Connor was so excited to go with Daddy, his cousins, Grandpa, and uncles.
It was his very first time camping, and he was super happy about getting to go!

Since it was just me, my mom, Evelynn, and Liam that night, we decided to go visit Melinda and her brand new baby. We picked up Olive Garden and went to her house. It was so fun! My cute little nephew has so much dark hair! Evelynn was so excited to meet baby cousin, and Liam was fascinated. I had to pull him away so many times.

The guys came back from the campout Saturday afternoon, and Caleb had lots of pictures to share, and Connor lots of stories to tell! It seems they had such fun!

The kids were pretty excited later when they got ready for Connor's party!

Caleb got a huge laugh out of our little Liam using this truck at my parents house to walk.

Evelynn of course enjoyed driving trucks, too!

We had spent so much time and effort planning this party. I would not have been able to pull it off without the help of my parents and mother-in-law! My parents helped with all the set up and let us use their home, and my mother-in-law did the cutest little concession stand themed refreshments!

I tried to do a little game, of pin the wheel on the monster truck, but it was a little different. I ended up having kids put stickers and try to get them on the wheel. It was pretty cute!

After doing refreshments we did the pinata.

We also did cake and icecream, and Connor was thrilled that it was a monster truck cake like he wanted.

Thank you to all you wonderful people who came to his party!

This kid loved every bit of his birthday party! You all made his day!!!
