September

As September began, Evelynn was QUITE thrilled about her dance clothes that we ordered, and she insisted on wearing them everywhere.

I have been working really hard at some weight loss goals and was happy to see and feel some results!

*Make sure you read our previous post about the many "firsts" we have had since my last post.

We had some family come into town right at the end of September and although I didn't take any pictures, it was worth mentioning it. The kids and I enjoyed their short stay with us, although poor Caleb was so busy he hardly had time to see them.

Liam has started climbing a ton. On the 31st he climbed up the ladder to his brother's bed all by himself! I was so stunned that I just stood there holding my hands up in case he fell. He was soooo proud of himself!

The next day we had a huge rainstorm roll in and it knocked our power out. The kids were pretty upset about it, until we built an awesome fort. Then they were thrilled. (Sorry none of them have clothes on.... it was a little toasty inside)

The next day (the 2nd) was Friday and Evelynn's dance studio was able to reschedule their pool party for that evening (it was supposed to be the previous night). We were so excited to get to go!

Daddy's birthday was the 5th, which happened to fall on Memorial day this year. That meant he got a day off! We decided to celebrate at Toad's and do some mini-golfing and a few games inside.

We were all pretty hungry and ready for lunch after we finished up at Toad's.

Liam, as I've mentioned before, is a little climbing monkey!

On the 6th Eva started dance, which more can be read about it on our previous post.

That same afternoon the kids were SO nice and went with me the the church orchard to do some picking!

On the 8th, Daddy took Connor out to work on his soccer skills before his first game, which you can read more about on our previous post.

May parents were in town the weekend of the 10th, and after they got back from my cousin's wedding in Salt Lake they took us out to ice cream before heading home.
The kids were so excited!

And this.... well, it's just an example of how much my kids pick on their poor youngest brother. That thing on Liam's neck is part of a foam mat that has a racetrack on it... and a pop out in the middle. I'm just assuming it started out as a hat and ended up as a necklace.

On the 13th, Evelynn stayed for dance all by herself. She was so excited to tell me all about what she learned when we were driving home. She now (a few weeks after this)  rocks her lefts and rights and tells me several different ballet terms she's been learning. And she loves every bit of dancing!

On the 16th we did some playing outside.
Well, more like I sent the kiddos outside to play with daddy because I had a ton of homework to do.

On the 17th we met up with my cousin and her kids at Thanksgiving Point to go to their Museum of Ancient Life.

The kids enjoyed climbing on the fun shapes!

This might have been the highlight of their whole visit, though. Playing with dinosaurs in water and sand!

I really wanted a picture of my kids on this little dinosaur (I have a picture of me on it when I was younger!), but my kids weren't so thrilled with the idea.

We walked through all the different exhibits to see, but the Cooper knew right where he wanted to go and my kiddos were quick to follow along!

They LOVED digging for dinosaur bones! Even Liam.

I insisted on taking a picture outside with the dinosaur, and one of the family. They weren't particularly thrilled, but I was. :-)

After we finished up with our fun activities, we headed to my aunt and uncles for Brazilian food made by my cousin's husband, and to do a little gender reveal for them.
My kids had a blast playing outside.

On the 20th it was another day of dance class. Evelynn came home so thrilled to show me her splits! I've never been that flexible, so I was pretty impressed!

There's another cute video you can see here!

On the 21st & 22nd we got SO MUCH rain! Evelynn and I were trying to take a picture to send to daddy at work to show him the water level, but our feet were covered in mud just trying to get out there. There was standing water on all the grass and it was a MESS! Just walking through the grass spit mud from her boots all up her back.

When Connor came home that afternoon, he was so excited to show us that he got prizes for the fundraiser he did! Thanks so much to grandparents who ordered/donated for him!!! :-)

The 23rd our Evelynn started getting sick. And it feels like we've been sick ever since. One week later Connor had a high fever as well, although the fever was the only symptom.

Our youngest two are currently quite sick with fevers, vomiting, and diarrhea. We are hoping they will be better soon!!!
