Just Another Relatively Normal Week

 We have been keeping pretty busy since we moved. I have been trying to finish getting the new place put together, but it has come to a dying halt...i despise decorating. it's no fun for me, so i have lost enthusiasm. But i am happy to say that Connor has not lost enthusiasm for playing in the new space! I've been trying hard to take pictures of all the fun we've been having. :)

 The other day i had the WORST craving for a vanilla milkshake, but we were unfortunately out of icecream so i could not make it. As i was whining to myself about how uncool and unfair it was i remembered seeing a "icecream in a bag" recipe on pinterest and was desperate enough to give it a try! Let's just say, it was a huge hit with my little man! He has requested it multiple times since then, and because it is so easy we have made it. He thinks it's DELICIOUS if you can't tell!

On the13th i decided i needed to do something about my hair that hasn't been done since july, so i decided to surprise Caleb and color and cut it. Please ignore the fact that i look like crap and have no makeup on! The color is very close to my natural so i like it. It will be easy to manage and continue to grow out after our baby comes in a few months. Caleb was surprised, and i was quite happy that he noticed a difference in my hair without me saying anything! He says he likes it :)

As i've said many times, Connor is a Daddy's boy. He loves to send pictures to daddy every day, and always smiles huge for him! he got upset the other day because Caleb couldn't answer his phone, and Connor wanted to talk to him, so we sent a picture instead. And also, Connor loves to help make dinner for Dad! If you can't tell what he is cooking up, i'll tell you. That is my valentine's day chocolate that he stole off the counter and dumped out to "cook" for daddy! Notice how he made sure to get forks too, because that's what you do when you're grown up!

Connor has been taking naps ever since we moved! it has been soooo wonderful to have my "me" time back again! I like having the chance to take a bath or a nap and just relax because pregnancy is exhausting!!! These are just a few cute pictures of Mr Connor. :)

 Earlier this week i happened upon a discovery...Connor's "squishy smile" that i love so much is identical to his Daddy's!!!! I laughed quite hard when i realized it and HAD to show Caleb. They are just too cute!

When we were moving to our new place a neighbor stopped Caleb and asked if we wanted this little car he had. It is in great condition, just the wrong color for a little boy. We decided that since Connor doesn't know colors yet, and frankly, doesn't care about them either, we would take it and let him play with it. He thinks it's super fun and drives it around all over the porch honking the horn and laughing! He doesn't want to be pushed, he wants to do it all by himself. He's on a bit of a "i'm a big boy" kick lately!!! He may not seem too enthusiastic in the video, but usually he loves this thing!

My munchkin loves his blankies. he always has, and probably always will. He was making me smile with how he was carrying them all over so i grabbed some pictures. And please notice how he is watching his favorite Thomas the Train show, complete with his Thomas train!

I have pictures of my sister and i wear mommy's and daddy's shoes when we were little, and i've always thought it was a super cute picture. The other day after Caleb came home from work Connor put his shoes on and started walking around in them! I decided i MUST take some pictures of it. How cute is he??? I tried to get a video of him walking around in them when he repeated it another day, but he likes to play camera shy lol
