I didn't really expect much to happen this Valentine's Day since we are still a bit tight on money from moving, but Caleb surprised me as usual. On the 13th we had a doctor's appointment for our little girl so i had Connor in the tub and i was getting ready for the day, when i suddenly saw someone moving to stand behind me. It scared me so bad since Caleb wasn't expected home from work for another 15 minutes and i hadn't heard anyone come inside!!! He had roses, chocolate, and a card. He said he wanted to make sure he got a good pick of the flowers and they wouldn't be all gone, so he decided to do it a day early. i was quite surprised! he's such a sweetie!!!!
Because Connor and i never have the car to run errands, i had decided ahead of time we would make homemade things for Caleb this year. We didn't do much, but Connor made him a cute card, and i made him a cheesy coupon book. Both cute projects where found on Pinterest. He said he loved both, and didn't even laugh at me very hard when i lost his gift. Connor had taken it and hid it from me and i was looking EVERYWHERE thinking i misplaced it due to pregnancy-brain. I was quite upset that i couldn't find it and give it to him as soon as he came home! i spotted it about an hour afterwards hidden almost in the fireplace!
We had a great Valentine's Day and hope everyone else did too!!!
