My Birthday

My Birthday was on Tuesday, and i wasn't too concerned about celebrating it. I just wanted to finish up cleaning our old apartment so we could turn the keys in. Caleb insisted we go out to dinner to celebrate though. :) We spent a few hours over there cleaning, and at 4 when we realized we had skipped lunch, we decided to go grab McDonald's and eat at the park down the road. I thoroughly enjoyed that Big Mac i got! Connor had quite a bit of fun at our little "picnic" and was very eager to show Dad how much he loves the park!!!

 After we got food in our tummies we went home to relax a bit, and so i could get "cutesy" for dinner. i wanted to get dressed up a bit and actually do my hair and makeup for once! Caleb told me we would go wherever i wanted, so i chose my favorite, OLIVE GARDEN! we went in the later evening since we had just eaten at 4, but as usual, dinner was delicious and we had lots of yummy leftovers to take home! I had originally had BIG plans to get a yummy dessert since i didn't have a cake or anything, but i was so full and tired i just wanted to go home. My sweet hubby said we would just get something to go so that i could eat it the next day and not feel bummed i didn't get anything. He picked out the Black Tie Mousse Cake...which is delicious. We pretty much devoured it! They even lit a candle for me to blow out before boxing it up, which was fun. :) I felt the night ended wonderfully, and it was a great birthday!
