This year Caleb was scheduled to be gone for two weeks right before Father's Day. We decided that it would be fun to spend some of that time finding presents to give him! We decided he need new pajama pants because his favorite ones had too many holes in them and i made him throw it away. And we found a cute little tag for Mt Dew that we thought would be fun for Caleb, since he loves Mt Dew so much. We also made him a special chocolaty dessert. The present Mommy was most excited to give Daddy was a cute collage of pictures of both of the kids!

We planned to let Daddy sleep in on Father's Day since we don't have church until 11am, but Daddy got a phone call from his Mom and sisters, so he talked to them and played with the kids instead!
After we got home from church i insisted on taking some pictures of Daddy and the kids, but Connor wasn't too pleased. he dumped out his leftovers from dinner all over the floor and threw a fit and cried during the pictures. it wasn't ideal, but i decided it was the best we could do with a grumpy boy who wanted his long over-due nap!
Evelynn was quite content to nap after she ate, and Connor insisted he needed chocolate chips and scrambled eggs for lunch...a bit of an odd mix, i'll admit! i figured i would document a smile from me on father's day! Caleb says he was just happy to be with his family.
Daddy ate his leftovers from dinner and then we opened his presents. Connor thought he was a big helper tearing everything up! Caleb said he liked all the presents, especially the pictures of the kids! it was a happy day for us!
We also wished a Happy Father's Day to both of our Father's by phone call. We love them and are glad we are their kids! We hope everyone else had a wonderful Father's day with their loved ones, too!
