Cuteness Overload --yeah, it's found here.

Since our last update, I don't feel like anything too exciting has happened.
However, our kids have been busy being cute and making memories!

I also made some new headbands. I friend of mine had the great idea to do a headband swap, so I made waaaay too many new designs. I refrained from actually finishing several of them, and only made Evelynn a few new ones to keep. There is a very large possibility that I have several almost-completed ones shoved in a box, hiding from my dearest husband.

Here she is modeling one of them! I felt DISTINCTLY that she needed a coral colored headband. So she got one. And doesn't she look beautiful in it?

She still hates headbands, but lately I can convince her to wear them for quite a long period of time using the phrases " NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! But it looks so pretty..." and "bring me that headband right now, young lady." She will then pick it up, bring it to me, try to put it on, then clap proudly as she tolerates me putting it back on her head. I'm pretty pleased that it works at all.

On Monday I convinced Caleb to take us to Bahama Bucks for FHE. Unfortunately for me, Connor fell asleep in the car. But he did wake up later to watch Frozen with me! And I got some rare snuggles from it. It made for one happy Mommy!

I know I'm always telling people how hilarious Evelynn's dancing is, but I can't help the fact that she gets sooo excited any time she hears music. Here she is dancing to the theme song of one of my favorite TV shows.

On this day I also felt that I should take pictures of how much Evelynn is growing.
Please ignore how messy her face is... She had been sick so she had quite a yucky nose.

I thought her little grin was too cute to handle, but then she got into some whipped topping and I laughed and laughed and laughed! Why is it that a kid's level of cuteness goes up when they get into mischief??? It really shouldn't, but it does.
Boy, was she proud of herself! Look at that grin.

I wanted to get a picture of Evelynn wearing the new shirt I bought her (I may or may not have bought it specifically for our trip to Idaho!). She wasn't too pleased about sitting still.

My kids had been feeling sick all of last week and they shared it with Daddy!
He came home sick from work and Connor took a nap with him. Evelynn lovingly snuggled with them for a little bit, but then she just wanted to play. I'm sure the look on her face shows how much she adores her Daddy!

On Thursday the 12th, we took Connor to have an evaluation to see if he was eligible for the Developmental Preschool we are trying to get him into. Overall, we thought it went very well. We were told he should have no problem qualifying, and scheduled a review meeting for the following week.

The very next day we had Connor's 3 year wellness check at his pediatrician's office.
I knew he had an ear infection because he gets them every single time he gets sick, without fail.
I was correct. Ear infection in both ears. Instead of giving him antibiotics (because he spits them out in my face, no matter how I try to mix it and disguise it) he got a shot.

He was 29 lbs, at 20th percentile weight
and 39 inches (3 ft, 3 inches) at 80th percentile height.

My attempts at getting a photo of him were rebuffed.

On Saturday we had to run an errand and sign some papers again for out new car, or should I say, our "Jeep".
While we waited, Evelynn was admired (seriously, no surprise there, who WOULDN'T admire her?!) and Connor watched a soccer game. His interest in soccer has sparked my plans to put him in soccer this Fall. I think he will enjoy it.

Sunday was Father's Day. Unfortunately, I started getting sick the day before and was extremely under the weather on Sunday. We all stayed home from church, and my dearest of dear husband took care of the kids and let me sleep. I did make him his favorite dessert in my few awake moments, but other than that, I slept the day --and the sickness-- away. I didn't even take a picture of Caleb with the kids, which I feel horrible about. But, I did Instagram a picture of me and my Daddy! I think it may have even been taken on a Father's day. That would be pretty cool.

I cleaned, did laundry, prepared meals for the week, and a lot of other completely uninteresting things on Monday.

Tuesday we my weekly workout & swim day.
Connor wasn't pleased about swimming. Poor kid. He did let me get a rare picture of him though!

Evelynn was "dancing" in the pool. She does the cutest up and down on her tippy toes and then sticks her leg out to the side while holding on to the handle. It reminded us of a ballerina doing Barre work, and so I had to get a video of it to show my dearest family!

I also got a kick out of how relaxed Evelynn was in her new boat. The only thing that would have made this picture better, was if she had her sunglasses on and a sippy in hand. HAHA!

On Wednesday (also known as 'yesterday'), I took the kids to the Library. The original plan involved doing a bubble activity that was supposed to happen, but it seemed to be quite a popular event, and there were a lot of people in the small room. It was just too much for Connor and he started to have a meltdown. I took the kids inside the library to the play area instead.

They both got pretty worn out from playing and fell asleep on the way home.

While we were at the library we had a funny (but cute) comment said to us about Miss Evelynn.
She had insisted on wearing a necklace (which we call her 'pretties') because I was wearing one. She wanted mine, and a tantrum began because she couldn't have it. Only allowing her to wear her necklace to the library could cure the crocodile tears pouring down her face. The lady told her she looked like she was about to walk into a fashion show and do the baby cat walk.

In honor of that comment, I took a million pictures of her, capturing the many faces of Evelynn.
Do super model's have paparazzi???? This one sure does. Ha!

This is another of Evelynn's latest headbands! I received quite a few compliments on it,
and it anyone wants to buy one, let me know!

I would have loved some pictures of my Connor as well, but as you can tell, he wasn't interested.
In fact, he was pretty ticked off that I would even suggest it.

So it's back to the pictures of our little girly- girl.

Last, but definitely not least, today we had Connor's review meeting for the Developmental Delay preschool. I'm not going to explain how it went because there's a lot to tell and some people many not really feel the need to know all details. BUT, if you are curious, just ask me! I'll fill you in. :)

Until next time!
