On December 18th, I was relieved to be DONE with my semester!!!
All the kiddos were as thrilled as I was!
That evening the kids were SO excited because Daddy set up their bunkbed they got for Christmas. Mommy was doing a craft night, but the kids were so excited. Connor had to take a bit to get into the bunk bed, but he's got it mastered now and loves it.
The next evening we went to a family Christmas party at Caleb's grandma's house.
We had a ton of fun!
When we left the party we went to the Christmas Village in downtown Ogden. Caleb had told us about going when he was young, so we decided it was the perfect place to go see lights. Unfortunately, we didn't make it in time to see Santa, but we still had fun seeing all the lights and walking around.
That night we realized that if Daddy wanted to be present when the kids opened their big presents for our early Christmas, we would need to have "Christmas" the next morning. Since Caleb had picked out several of these big presents, we decided to go ahead with the early Christmas.
When the kids woke up the next morning, Connor was so excited! We thought h was still in his room, but when we heard "Oh my gosh, It's Christmas!!!!" we scrambled out of bed and made sure no presents were opened until we were ready.
Our little kids were quite thrilled by getting to open presents!
After presents were opened, we got ready for Church in the outfits I had been planning for nearly a month! I forgot all about making my boys their boyties, so I ended up having to hotglue them an hour before church, and now that I look at things, I thought of cuter outfits for them anyways, but still... we looked cute and matchy-matchy!
When we opened the door we saw it snowing, which was the PERFECT touch for our Christmas Sunday celebrating!
That evening Caleb had a party with his friends that we all went to for a bit. I then took the kids home to get them in bed, but while I was prepping the present for Connor's preschool teachers, I saw to my dismay, my baby sitting up in his bouncer!
Why does he have to get so big?!?
