I always push for 24 hour discharge from the hospital. They do their discharges around 11 am, so it wasn't until about noon on the 15th that we were able to get all the paperwork and things done that we needed to and could head home.
Little Liam wasn't so thrilled about me changing his outfit! This guy loves sleeping, but does a great job eating as well. He seems to have wakeful hours between 3 and 5 am every day, but ironically, those were the hours I always woke up and was restless during my pregnancy, so I guess it shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise.
He made sure to tell me he didn't appreciate me disturbing his peaceful sleep.
Daddy is an expert baby swaddler. The nurse told him he should teach a class to the other nurses... haha! Liam loves to be wrapped up, and he would fuss whenever I wrapped him, because it just didn't work as well as however Caleb does it. I guess Liam could tell the difference and preferred to be swaddled the way Daddy did it.
As usual, I got to hold Liam while we were taken out to the doors where Caleb brought the car around.
Thankfully this kid doesn't seem to mind his carseat at all. Just throw a blanket over it and he's out!
Our arrival home was welcomed by smiling faces.
Connor immediately asked if I was owie anymore or if baby tummy doctor made it all better. (Haha! What a cutie!)
And of course, Grandma got to spend some quality time holding her newest grandchild!
Liam got to test out his bouncer, which he didn't find near as thrilling as brother and sister did!
Both Liam and Mommy spent quite a bit of time resting in the next couple of days, but are recovering and doing well!
