I have been incredibly distracted the last month or so, so I know this update is extremely over due!
Here's what we were up to the last half of June:
MORE SWIMMING LESSONS!
Day 3: There was an excessive heat warning going on, and it was miserable!
I kept having to get up and move to avoid a view of a lady's butt instead of my son's class. After 4 times... I finally just switched chairs.
Day 4:
I spent the majority of swim lessons lounging where I wouldn't die of heat and didn't get the best pictures, but Connor sure had a great view of his sister's class!
June 19th - 36.5 week appointment :
Saturday the 20th: We took the kids to the pool to practice their swimming! Connor was having a blast splashing in my face and "spraying" water with the toys.
Later that day my kids also decided to make a little clubhouse out of their baby brother's bassinet. I guess since he's not available to use it, they figure they will!
Father's Day:
We didn't do much for Caleb for father's day because he had requested to buy some new computer games instead of use picking out gifts for him. But we made him breakfast and dinner, and we took pictures of the kiddos with him before the kids and I headed to church.
Day 5 of swim lessons:
Both kids made some awesome progress with their lessons. Connor had his first meltdown over it, but we celebrated with frosties afterwards which made it ALL BETTER!
Day 6:
Evelynn and I did some major cleaning during the day. I admit her desire to wear a swimsuit 24/7 and accesorize it was a little hilarious to me. How precious is our little girl?!
Evelynn decided swim lessons weren't exciting because they make her "cold".... in over 100 degree weather, but hey, whatever floats her boat!
Day 7:
Evelynn's toddler class did a CPR training with the parents, so she had a break from the pool. Connor rocked his lessons though while mommy watched him!
Day 8: LAST SWIM LESSON
Daddy went out of town, so mommy got to handle the last day of swim lessons solo. I was relieved that it went well!
While the kids and I were hanging out, Daddy got to see some of his family.
Friday the 26th:
After the kids and I went to my doctor's appointment, I took them to get a snow cone from Bahama Buck's! IT WAS DELICIOUS!
Daddy came home late Saturday night. The kids had been promised that Dad was coming home, and they brought their blankets and pillows out and parked themselves where they could wait for him. I did eventually put them in their beds, but I couldn't resist grabbing pictures of them excitedly waiting for their daddy to come home!
Sunday the 28th:
Full- term time!
It would be nice if my kids came early, but I always seem to have late babies. It never hurts to tell them their arrival is welcome early though!
