On Friday the 15th we headed up to Idaho for a visit to family. Caleb's sister-in-law was having a baby shower that I had really wanted to attend, and we figured we could go and do a small family get-together with cake and ice cream for Liam.
My mom helped me take some more picture of Liam while I got things ready for the little party. Liam has been a bit emotional lately, but I just had to grab these pictures of him with my mom. I love how much my kids love her!
Before the party we just had to grab a picture of all these grandkids! Aren't they the cutest?!
And of course, our little "L babies" -- Liam and Lawrence. Please ignore the fact that I have ZERO make up on my face!
Soon it was party time!
When it's party time... that means it's nap time, right? ...
Yeah, birthday boy nearly slept thru it all.
Thankfully he woke up when we started singing happy birthday. He was pretty confused and freaked out though. I guess it wasn't the best sounding singing????
Next was presents.
Thanks for making Liam's 1st birthday such a special one! And thanks to the grandparents for making it to our super last minute planning for this little celebration.
Oh, and here's a pic of the real king of our "wild ones".
Yeah, he wasn't so thrilled about that picture there. But we still love him!
That night Liam climbed into the bus that holds my parent's lego blocks. He really works on his climbing at their house!
The next morning I woke up and took Liam with me to Katelyn's baby shower. I had to snag some pictures form my MIL because I didn't take any, but it was a super cute little shower! We're so excited for them!
After the baby shower, I went to the temple with my mom, Joseph, and Melinda. We didn't take any pictures, but had an awesome experience!
Sunday I woke up and took the kids to Sacrament Meeting at my parent's ward, then we returned to their house to pack up and head home. It was a short, but wonderful little trip!
