Our Halloween celebrating started the 25th when Evelynn got to wear her costume to dance.
She was so excited, if you can't tell!
Then the weekend before Halloween, we carved our pumpkins. It was also the day of Connor's very last soccer game, which we talk about in previous posts.
We've decided we'll have to wait a day or so longer next year, but we were so glad Daddy helped us! Last year I did them all myself and it took FORVER.
Halloween started off with the Kindergarten Costume parade at Connor's school.
We kept our eyes peeled for Connor and snapped pictures when we saw him!
He even graced us with a little grin when he realized it was us. :-)
That afternoon I took the kids to trick-or-treat at Lee's. It was crazy packed, so we parked on a street around behind the store and walked a while. Connor wanted to go so badly that we made it happen.
On our walk back I realized I forgot to take pictures, so I snapped some at the car rather than going back.
That night we waited until Daddy got home to trick-or-treat, but the kids were so excited about it! Connor had come home from the parade asking for his face to be painted with spots. I didn't have anything other than eve liner, so I had to improvise, but I managed to give him what he wanted!
He was so thrilled he took selfie's of himself. Haha!
And since one got their face fancy, we had to do everyone else, too.
We had some very excited kids when it came time to leave!
The so pretty thrilled about their Trick-or-Treating bags their Grandpa Barthlome gave them when we were in Idaho.
I must admit that I really admire those moms who come up with family themes and everyone matches. Maybe one day I will be, but for now, admire my cute little bunch of misfits.
