October

I am ridiculously far behind on blogging! So expect some catch-ups in the next few days.

October brought the end of Soccer for our Connor, and a couple other fun events.

We always did practice here at this field, but games were at another nearby one.
Evelynn loved to sit on this rock during soccer practice (when we weren't walking laps looking for "dan-lions" for "making wishes!!!!", so I snapped a pic.

By the end of the season, Connor was getting a lot quicker and more assertive about kicks.

The kids and I took a trip to Idaho in the middle of the month that you can read about here!

The very last practice the last week of October consisted of team pictures, so Evelynn and Liam had fun kicking the ball around while Connor did what he needed to do.

There's a really cute video of Liam kicking the soccer ball around found here.

As you may notice, Liams was in badly need of a haircut. So, he got his first "real" one on the 28th. Right before his birthday I trimmed problem areas, but this was his first all over cut!

That evening my parents came in to town for a wedding of my cousin.
As we were getting ready to go to dinner, my phone had a little accident, which resulted in my needing a new phone. So there's a big lack of pictures this weekend, but my parents were so nice to snap one of them with Connor at his game and send it to me!

We had just enough time to stop and see most of Connor's last soccer game before I had to head off with my parents. Connor was so excited to have Grandpa and Grandma there!

After the game and the wedding, I got a new phone. Woohoo! Mine was over 2 1/2 years old anyways, so we didn't feel too horrible about replacing it. My parents heading back home later that evening.

The next day, I woke up to everyone in our bed. There wasn't even a spot for me. (You can see Caleb's head on the far side poking out of the covers while he snores away).

Most of our October consisted of school, practices, and getting Connor to-and-from school, so unfortunately there's not much to say otherwise.

You can read about our Halloween activities here!
