Tuesday May 26th
We weren't too excited about our trip coming to an end. Evelynn had caught another cold at the tail-end of it and was incredibly grouchy. My mom drove us to the airport and helped us take our bags inside. The kids were so sweet about taking pictures with their grandma!
We got through security pretty well and it was relatively tantrum free.
I decided that Evelynn would be sitting with her daddy this time around, and that I would take Connor. There seemed to be no arguments with that arrangement from the kids.
By the time we got back to Phoenix, got our bags, caught the shuttle back to our car, Connor's sadness had arrived. He wanted to know where Grandma's house was and he was very, very sad that I told him it was too far to go to right now. He cried for quite a while, but eventually accepted that we were home and he wouldn't have to share his toys, so he could handle that. Oh, to be four years old again!
We had so much fun on our trip and are so glad we were able to participate in the fun events that took place.
