Jessica & Todd's Wedding

Saturday May 23

Wedding day had a speedy start and was busy from beginning to end. But what wedding day isn't!?

I got ready, got the Bride ready, and even had time to do my mom's hair as well. They then headed off to the temple. Normal guests don't have to be there as early as the bride/groom and parents, so I had time to get my family ready before we all (including my brother Joseph) got in the truck and headed into Boise.

I didn't take a single picture all day, but when we were waiting for the bride & groom to exit the temple together, I had my mother-in-law snap a picture of my family together. She had errands to run in Boise and had decided to come along and watch the kids with Caleb while I was in the temple for the wedding. She grabbed a good one!

My Grandpa West also took pictures that I was able to snag some copies of to share. I'm sure the photographer has more pictures, but this is just what I have for now.

Thankfully he also grabbed a couple pictures with me and my little family in them!

There was a lovely luncheon after the temple for family. I didn't take pictures though, I was much too distracted! After finishing up eating (my kids devoured their food, and if you know my kids, that's amazing and a very rare sight!) we hurried back to my parent's house to work on setting up the reception. I'm disappointed that I didn't get any pictures of all the hard work we put into her reception, but I'm sure she will have pictures from the photographer!

I sent Caleb and the kids to Grandma Anderson's house because they were a little over-excited up from everything going on, and I didn't really want them having meltdowns because of so many unfamiliar faces all over the backyard. Overall it was a beautiful day, and I'm so happy to welcome Todd into our family!

On the following day, my kids ate a TON of leftover wedding cake. I may or may not have indulged as well. YUM!
