Spring Recital - Utah Dance Academy

May 18th was Evelynn's first dance recital.
We went and let her pick out flowers and she was so excited to find pink roses! She said that's what ballerina's like.

We got her makeup all done in time to go pick up brother from school.

When we returned home, Evelynn's favorite "cousin" (my cousin's daughter!) was there waiting for us so she could go to the recital with us.

The first number was "Make Some Noise" so we got her ready in her costume.
Their first number was half way through the program so there was plenty of waiting before it started.

Evelynn was in the middle (the one searching for her spot on the floor lololol)
We bought an official dvd from the professional company that recorded it, but we had to record for family that couldn't make it!

Their second number was right before the end of the program. By then the girls were all running around excitedly.

I made sure to grab a picture of Evelynn with her teacher, Bambi.

With this second dance, I'm pretty sure she needed to go potty (which probably made the frog leaping unpleasant lol). We were so proud of her for remembering her parts even when she was the only one doing it.

Evelynn was quite happy to take pictures with her flowers after the recital was finished!
The recital took place downtown Ogden so we didn't want to hang around too long.

When we got home we took some more pictures.

Mommy & Daddy love you, "little dancer girl" (as you like to be called).

And thanks so much for coming to the super long recital, Olivia!
(and her wonderful mommy for bringing her and watching our youngest during it!)

We can't wait for next season!
