Tulip Festival Weekend

My sister's family came in to town and stayed with us on the 26th. The next morning the kids and I took them to see the Treehouse Museum here in Ogden. It's the coolest, and we were excited to show them and see if they liked it! Good news -- they did. They had a ton of fun! They kids were all so excited and busy looking at the cool places that we didn't even get to grab pictures of them all together.

I did attempt to grab a picture of all my kiddos though. It went... ok. As you can see.
Could have been better. Next time, folks! Next time!

I grabbed a bunch of pictures but there's too many to show. Here's some fun highlights, though!

Cousins went to see their other family after our fun Treehouse visit. It started SNOWING on our way home. How crazy is that?! Weird Utah weather.
On Friday the 28th, we took our family down to stay the night with my cousin's family (which also meant we got to see cousins again!). Melinda and I were going to run a 5K at Thanksgiving Point bright and early the next morning and I really didn't want to wake up at 5 to drive down. We figured this was the better plan.

We all went out to Pizza for dinner.

The next morning, we were FREEZING for our run!!!!
But we had a lot of fun.

I had a goal to run the entire way, but I wasn't able to. It was really cold outside and I ended up having some asthma issues. But I did shave 2+ mins off my best time. I know it's because my sister has a much quicker pace than I do and she was being so kind and going slow for me.

After Melinda and I got back to my cousin's and got showered and all the kids dressed (and after it had warmed up a bit!!!) we all went to the Tulip Festival. It was so beautiful and cool to go! (Thanks to my Aunt & Uncle for getting us in half price with their membership! ;-) )

My Aunt sent a bunch of quarters for the kids to all get to feed the fish. Liam thought it was the coolest thing on the planet! My kids probably could have stayed there all day pointing to the giant fish.

We let the kids enjoy the bounce houses for a little while, but then it was time to enjoy the Tulips (the REAL reason we were there, right, parents?!)

You can see that some of us enjoyed it more than others.

At the end, we all went our separate ways. Our little ones were WORN OUT and slept on the way home.
